Choose a route for your needs and a plan for your usage

First identify the service you need to access, then choose how to connect. A route card shows the exit location; it does not grant access to a destination website.

Connection Checks

Peak-hour connections and switching routes

If videos buffer in the evening, don't rush to upgrade your plan. Playback also depends on your local network, route, and streaming platform. Pause background downloads first, then compare the current route with a backup using the same video clip. After switching, reopen the playback page so the old connection doesn't keep using the previous exit. InnVPN labels regions and route types separately, making it easier to check them under the same conditions. Keeping a backup route that works in practice is more useful than choosing by region name alone. Your experience will depend on your actual network connection.

Streaming Access

Mainland China video access and regional availability

If you're outside mainland China and want to access mainland Chinese video services, first make sure you've selected a route intended for mainland China access rather than relying on the exit name alone. Streaming platforms may also use account region, content rights, location permissions, and payment details to determine what's available. If the page loads but the video won't play, check the platform's message, then see whether the player is still using an old session. InnVPN provides network connectivity, not video memberships, and cannot guarantee that every title will always be available. For a useful test, keep the account and title the same and change only the route to distinguish connection issues from content restrictions.

Privacy & Security

Military-grade encryption for everyday connections

When working with documents, accessing accounts, or using developer tools on public networks, an encrypted connection is part of staying safer online. InnVPN highlights military-grade encryption, but encryption doesn't make a destination website trustworthy or replace software updates and account security. Keep secure connections enabled on websites, check the domain before signing in, and never submit subscription details to unfamiliar pages. If an app has connection issues, first check whether it uses the system proxy, then review its rules. Don't disable certificate checks in your browser or system security settings just to make a page load.

AI Tools

Test your browser and coding tools separately

ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, and command-line tools may not use the same network settings. Browser access doesn't mean your editor and terminal are using the same route. First check access in a browser, then make a real request from your editor, and finally review the terminal's proxy settings. AI services may also have account, regional, and eligibility requirements; a network connection can't replace them. An InnVPN subscription provides an access route. If autocomplete stops or a response hangs, note the tool's message and client logs instead of repeatedly switching routes and obscuring the original issue.

Using Multiple Devices

Unlimited devices online at once

Configure clients for your work computer, mobile devices, and home computer according to how you use each one. InnVPN supports unlimited devices online at once and works on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Unlimited devices doesn't mean unlimited data, so plan usage around the allowance in your selected plan. After importing your subscription, check the route and mode on each device rather than copying every setting from another one. Subscription details are linked to your account, so keep them secure. When changing devices, get a fresh copy from the user panel and avoid configurations from unknown sources.

Billing & Refunds

14-day no-questions-asked refunds

Before choosing a subscription, consider whether you'll connect regularly or only occasionally. Monthly plan data resets on your activation date; data packs are used until depleted and never expire, making them suitable for different usage patterns. InnVPN offers 14-day no-questions-asked refunds and accepts Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. To request a refund, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with the relevant order and request details. See the Terms of Service for full terms. When upgrading mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Review the change details in the panel first, and keep data allowances separate from plan duration.

Global routes and exit locations

Coverage across 90+ countries and 250+ routes. Filter by access direction first, then compare how each route performs in practice. The nearest exit isn't necessarily the best choice for your destination service.

Understanding route types

IEPL dedicated lines, relayed routes, and direct routes describe how network paths are organized; they don't guarantee access to a destination service. A direct route is more straightforward, a relayed route passes through an intermediary, and a dedicated line uses a different link arrangement. Don't rank routes by label alone. Open the service you actually need on your own network and check whether web pages, video, or app requests complete normally.

Choose separately for mainland China and international access

Watching videos from mainland China and accessing international websites involve different destinations. Before connecting, check the usage notes in the user panel; don't assume the popular regions list shows routes to mainland China. If content from the previous region still appears after switching routes, close and reopen the target app. You may also need to check account region and location settings. Follow the destination platform's guidance for content rights or account eligibility messages.

Route Status Reference

The statuses below are for reference only and don't reflect measurements from your device. Check connection performance in the client and destination app.

VPN Downloads and Subscription Import

Works on Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Get clients and subscriptions from the user panel. Sign in to the panel to access your subscription.

From account to connection

No email required. Create an account with a username and password. In the panel, get the client for your operating system, then review plans and subscription details. Sign in to download on Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux; iOS download availability depends on the active plan shown in the panel. Downloading a client and getting a working subscription are separate steps. After installation, import the configuration as directed in the panel.

Test after importing

When the route list appears, first confirm that your subscription has updated, then choose an exit and connection mode. A connected status only means the client completed its connection steps; you should still test the destination website or app. If a browser works but an app doesn't, check whether the app follows the system proxy before reinstalling. The getting-started guide covers the full process and platform-specific instructions.

If you don't use a monthly plan, compare data packs separately. Consider how often you connect and how much data you need; monthly reset rules don't apply to data packs. Data packs never expire, but they aren't unlimited: once the allowance is used up, follow the instructions in the user panel.

Monthly plan data resets on your activation date. Mid-cycle upgrades convert the price difference into remaining days. Payment methods: Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. 14-day no-questions-asked refunds.

Before comparing plans, review a sample of your actual usage. Video quality, file transfers, and background sync all affect data consumption, so connection time alone isn't enough to estimate it. InnVPN lists monthly plan and data pack rules separately so you can compare price, allowance, and usage pattern together. Refund requests are handled through support tickets in the user panel. Review the Terms of Service before paying, and check the order and conversion details shown in the panel before changing plans.

Common questions before you start

Account, connection, data, and refunds are covered separately. When troubleshooting, sharing the exact message is more useful than simply saying it doesn't work.

Do I need an email address to get started?
No email required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your account details secure and get clients and subscriptions from the user panel. Subscription details are linked to your account, so don't post them in group chats, screenshots, or public documents. If you already have an account, use the login link in the navigation.
Does unlimited devices also mean unlimited data?
You can use unlimited devices at once, but each plan has a data allowance. Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60 GB, ¥18/month with 250 GB, and ¥28/month with 500 GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date. Data packs last until depleted and never expire. Device limits and data billing are separate rules, so check each one.
Why won't a website load when the client says connected?
First confirm that your subscription is active, then check that the system proxy or the network mode required by the client is enabled. Test in a browser and the destination app separately to see whether the issue affects just one app. You can also temporarily close other proxy tools to rule out configuration conflicts. If the website shows a specific error, note the message and when it occurred, then follow the relevant steps in the troubleshooting guide.
Can I use streaming services and AI tools right away?
Check with an actual connection. InnVPN provides a network access route, but video and AI services may still depend on account region, content rights, plan eligibility, or app rules. Choose the service you need, check the appropriate exit, and test both its website and in-app features. If you see an eligibility message, check the platform's guidance instead of assuming every issue is route-related.
How long is the refund period, and where do I apply?
14-day no-questions-asked refunds. To apply, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with the relevant order and refund request. Payments are supported via Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. See the Terms of Service for full refund rules. For connection issues, include your operating system, client, route name, and error message—but redact passwords, subscription URLs, and other access credentials.
